Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fairmont Heights). Everything went their way against the International High School at Largo Sea Turtles on Wednesday as they made off with a 25-5 victory. The win continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Sea Turtles: they've now won six in a row.

The team relied heavily on Joshua Benitez, who went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, four runs, and one triple. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played. Qamar Treherne also deserves some recognition as he launched his first home run of the season.

Fairmont Heights' victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for International High School at Largo, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Fairmont Heights will head out to challenge Surrattsville at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Fairmont Heights is facing Surrattsville at the right time seeing as Surrattsville is stuck on a four-game losing streak. International High School at Largo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
