 Millville had to endure  a  seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victor by  a  29-17 margin over the Columbia Montour Vo-Tech Rams on Thursday. Millville's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
  Morgan DiFebo was  incredible,  getting on base  in six of her seven plate appearances with a  home run, seven  stolen bases,  and five  runs. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more  stolen bases the last three times she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Lily Zenzel, who  scored three  runs and  stole seven bases while  getting on base  in six of her seven plate appearances.
 On Columbia Montour Vo-Tech's side,  Rehna Wallace and  Baylee Jendrek did some serious damage despite the final result:  Wallace  scored three  runs and  stole four bases while going 3-for-5, while  Jendrek  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-5.  Arianna Sheatler was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in four of her six plate appearances.
 Millville's win  ended  a  nine-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 2-9. As for Columbia Montour Vo-Tech, they are  on  a  nine-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-14.
 Millville will be playing in front of their home fans against Benton at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. Millville will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  runs each  game than the last. As for Columbia Montour Vo-Tech, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Northwest Area at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Northwest Area's pitching crew has only allowed 3.7  runs per game  this season, so Columbia Montour Vo-Tech's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
