Soccer Game Preview: Chaparral vs. Bastrop

The Chaparral Bobcats will face off against the Bastrop Bears at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Chaparral's offense. They came up short against Rouse on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, Bastrop kept a clean sheet against Elgin on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 5-0 margin over the Wildcats. The result was nothing new for Bastrop, who have now won four matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Elgin with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Cayden Justice (2), Angel Chavez Hernandez (2), and Anthonie Palacios.

Chaparral's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3-2. As for Bastrop, their win bumped their record up to 7-2-1.
