Basketball Recap: 11 Straight Home Victories for Paul VI

Paul VI came tearing into Saturday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.4 points) and they left with even more momentum. They snuck past the Middle Township Panthers with a 68-63 victory. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked eighth, while the Panthers are ranked 49th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Middle Township's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances.
