Brea Olinda gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They claimed a resounding 47-0 win over the Sonora Raiders. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Wildcats just coasted through the last quarter.

Gavyn Nicholson was nothing short of spectacular: he threw for 224 yards and three TDs on only 16 passes, and also rushed for 79 yards on only six carries. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (151). Another player making a difference was Kolotolu Liti, who gained 105 total yards and two touchdowns.

Looking ahead, Brea Olinda will take on Cypress at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sonora, they will challenge Northwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
