Basketball Recap: Easton Comes Up Short

Easton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost to the Wilson Creek Devils at home by a 40-24 margin. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against Easton this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 45-14 back in December of 2024.

Easton's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Wilson Creek, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-11 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Easton will head out to face off against Pateros at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Easton is facing Pateros at the right time seeing as Pateros is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Wilson Creek, they will take on Moses Lake Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
