Soccer Recap: Boulder City Takes a Loss

Boulder City managed to keep up with Moapa Valley until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Eagles lost 5-1 to the Pirates. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Moapa Valley this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Boulder City's loss dropped their record down to 1-5-2. As for Moapa Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1-1.

Looking ahead, Boulder City will head out on the road to challenge Virgin Valley at 5:45 p.m. on the 26th. Boulder City's defense better be ready for this one: Virgin Valley have averaged an impressive 2.7 goals per game this season. As for Moapa Valley, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 6-0 win against Varsity Opponent on the 18th.
