The Munster Mustangs and the Twin Lakes Indians will round out the year against one another at at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Munster is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games.
Munster is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Thornton Fractional South: they outscored them in every quarter. Munster put the hurt on Thornton Fractional South with a sharp 58-35 victory on Friday. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 23 points or more this season.

Munster's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nina Garner, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. Garner's evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Igboamaka Odeluga was another key player, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 14 rebounds.
Munster was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2023.
Meanwhile, Twin Lakes lost to Benton Central on the road by a 53-37 margin on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 322nd, while the Bison are ranked 145th).
Despite the defeat, Twin Lakes saw an underclassman step up: freshman Addyson Hines posted 18 points and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jasmine West, who had eight points.
Munster has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31.8 points. As for Twin Lakes, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Munster has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 29.2 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Twin Lakes struggles in that department as they've been averaging 31.8 boards.
