Marion County entered their tilt with Sayre on Monday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 3-0 win.

Marion County's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-0. As for Sayre, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Marion County will face off against rival Pulaski County at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Sayre is set to challenge their familiar foe Lafayette at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
