Soccer Recap: Odyssey Institute Wins Going Away Against River Valley

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Northwest Christian, Odyssey Institute was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the River Valley Dust Devils with a sharp 14-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Minotaur, who have now won four matchups by six goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting River Valley from everywhere, as 11 different players booted in a goal. Jan Gedlek led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Odyssey Institute's win bumped their record up to 5-6-1. As for River Valley, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-7.

Odyssey Institute will be playing at home against Benjamin Franklin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Benjamin Franklin will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Odyssey Institute surely won't give up without a fight. As for River Valley, they will head out to challenge Kingman at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
