Soccer Recap: Clark Comes Up Short

If Clark was riding high fresh off their 10-2 takedown of Durango on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Chargers lost 6-2 to the Desert Oasis Diamondbacks on Wednesday. Clark have struggled against Desert Oasis recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Clark was without their leading scorer, Tianna Griffith, in Wednesday's match. With Griffith sidelined, Isabella Hittson got her first action of the season. Hittson made the most of the opportunity, scoring two goals A few more games like that and she might be seeing even more time going forward.

Clark's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Desert Oasis, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-7.

Looking ahead, Clark will head out on the road to square off against Spring Valley at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Desert Oasis does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
