Basketball Recap: Roxbury Comes Up Short

Roxbury lost against Morris Hills back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Gaels lost to the Knights at home by a 52-35 margin. Gaels fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Knights since Thursday.

Roxbury now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Morris Hills, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Roxbury wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 66-34 victory against Dover on the 20th. Morris Hills will take on Hanover Park in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The contest will give the Knights their first taste of in-conference action this season.
