Wayne benefitted from Brown in 4-0 victory
Riley Brown was dynamite on Monday, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over 6.2 innings pitched. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fourth in a row with more than eight strikeouts. On the year, Brown has an ERA of 1.98 over 28.3 innings pitched.
Brown and Wayne will stay at home for another game and welcome Scott at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Wayne has some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since March of 2019, but a win here would be a good start.
