Recap: Chiefland Indians vs. Oak Hall Eagles
The Chiefland Indians lost against the Oak Hall Eagles back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Chiefland lost to Oak Hall on the road by a decisive 50-33 margin. Chiefland has struggled against Oak Hall recently, as their game on Monday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Chiefland still got an impressive performance from Ryleigh Locke, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 10 rebounds. Locke is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Davies, who scored 2 points along with 7 steals.
Chiefland now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Oak Hall, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chiefland will take on Bronson at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Oak Hall will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Union County at 6:00 p.m. on December 15th.
