Basketball Recap: New Ulm Takes a Loss

New Ulm was not able to break out of their rough patch on Sunday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 100-45 defeat at the hands of the Mankato East Cougars. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

New Ulm's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Mankato East, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Mankato East beat New Ulm by a score of 100-45 on Monday.
