Baseball Recap: Biggersville Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Biggersville took on Hatley on Tuesday. The Biggersville Lions lost 18-1 to the Hatley Tigers.

Biggersville saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carsen Price, who went a perfect2-for-2 with one stolen base.

Biggersville's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Hatley, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Biggersville will head out on the road to challenge Tishomingo County at 1:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Hatley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Smithville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
