Bear River extended their winning streak to 18 on Thursday, bumping them up to 26-4. They blew past the Wheatland Pirates 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Brooke Milligan was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 38 assists. That's the most assists she has posted since back in September.

As for Wheatland, their loss dropped their record down to 10-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered since September 18th.

Wheatland's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Miranda Wilke, who had 19 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabel Salo, who had six kills and four digs.

Bear River has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Pleasant Grove on the 11th. As for Wheatland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Colfax on the 14th.
