Volleyball Recap: Temple City's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

If Temple City was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Monrovia last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rams took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Pasadena Tigers on Tuesday. The Rams were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

While Temple City ultimately came up short, they really made South Pasadena work, particularly in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-23, 20-25, 28-26.

Temple City's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-5. As for South Pasadena, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-17.

Temple City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Pasadena, they will square off against Village Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Crusaders will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
