Softball Recap: Lennard Takes a Loss

After flying high against Brandon last Monday, Lennard came back down to earth. Lennard lost 13-5 to the East Bay Indians on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Longhorns of the 15-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Kennedy McClain was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

Lennard's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for East Bay, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6.

Lennard and East Bay will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time Lennard sees the field they'll take on Plant City at 7:00 p.m. on the 25th. As for East Bay, their break will end when they face Sumner at 7:00 p.m. on the 25th.
