Volleyball Recap: Suffern Starts Season with Victory Against Carmel

Suffern gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Carmel Rams as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Suffern was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-12, 25-12.

Carmel is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

After both having extra time off, Suffern and Arlington will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Carmel, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Sleepy Hollow on the 13th.
