Softball Recap: Del Sol Comes Up Short

Del Sol fell victim to Foothill and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 20-0 to the Falcons. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Del Sol's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Foothill, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-6.

Coming up, Del Sol will head out to square off against Sports Leadership & Management at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulls have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.11 runs per game on average), something the Dragons will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Foothill, they will host Pinecrest Academy Cadence at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Falcons will need to watch out since the Cougars have now posted at least ten runs in their last five contests.
