Basketball Recap: Libby Takes a Loss

Libby was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 74-41 loss at the hands of the Ronan Chiefs. If the Loggers were looking for revenge after losing 73-44 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Libby's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Ronan, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Libby will square off against Columbia Falls at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Columbia Falls' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests. As for Ronan, they will take on Whitefish at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Ronan knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Whitefish likes a good challenge.
