Baseball Recap: Lancaster Mennonite Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Lancaster Mennonite came into Friday's matchup having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They skirted past the Conestoga Christian Cougars 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Blazers have posted since April 8, 2024.

Jackson Snader tossed a big game, striking out nine batters over six innings while giving up four earned runs off seven hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Westin Rhine, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one triple. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brady Kinney, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Lancaster Mennonite's win bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Conestoga Christian, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-5 record.
