Baseball Recap: Knoch Comes Up Short

Knoch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Indiana Little Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Little Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-5 on Tuesday.

Knoch's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10-1. As for Indiana, their victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Knoch will host Derry at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Indiana, they will welcome Connellsville at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Little Indians 1.8, the Falcons 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
