Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Mid-Buchanan walked away with it. Everything went their way against the East Buchanan Bulldogs on Thursday as they made off with a 59-33 win. The Dragons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Mid-Buchanan's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was London Wilson, who shot 63% from the field en route to 16 points and six rebounds. The game was Wilson's third in a row with at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Avani Kendzora, who went 5-for-9 to rack up 14 points.

Mid-Buchanan smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive boards in eight consecutive matchups.

Mid-Buchanan is on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 19 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-3 record this season. East Buchanan is on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-16.

Mid-Buchanan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 48-33 win against Lathrop on the 1st. East Buchanan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
