Basketball Recap: Edon Takes a Loss

Edon lost against Edgerton last Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Edon Bombers were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 41-40 to the Edgerton Bulldogs.

Edon's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Edgerton, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-6 record this season.

Edon will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Montpelier at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Edgerton and Ayersville will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Ayersville has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with five straight defeats, while Edgerton will come in with three straight wins.
