Volleyball Recap: Buena Vista Falls Short of Sedgwick County in the Playoffs

Buena Vista and Sedgwick County squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Buena Vista had to settle for second. They came up short against the Cougars, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Demons of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2023.

Buena Vista's loss dropped their record down to 21-6. As for Sedgwick County, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season.

Buena Vista does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sedgwick County, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Dolores on the 14th.
