Preview: Sharpstown Apollos vs. Northside Panthers

The Sharpstown Apollos will head out on the road to challenge the Northside Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Sharpstown came up short against Waltrip and fell 64-54.

Meanwhile, Northside's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell 48-40 to Galena Park. Northside has not had much luck with Galena Park recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Solomon Cenac, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of keith Wilson, who scored ten points along with two steals.

Sharpstown has been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 15 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-24 record this season. As for Northside, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-15.

Sharpstown came up short against Northside in their previous matchup back in January, falling 58-50. Can Sharpstown avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
