Volleyball Recap: Bristol Bay Comes Up Short

Bristol Bay was the 1-0 winner over Cook Inlet Academy when they last played one another back in October of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Angels fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 1-0 on Friday.

Bristol Bay's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Cook Inlet Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season.

Bristol Bay has already played their next match, a 1-0 defeat against Petersburg on the 10th. As for Cook Inlet Academy, they will square off against Susitna Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
