Football Recap: New Underwood Comes Up Short

New Underwood lost against Philip back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers had to suffer through a 45-8 loss at the hands of the Scotties. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota football rankings (they are ranked 58th, while the Scotties are ranked fifth).

New Underwood is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7. As for Philip, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

As of now, neither New Underwood nor the Scotties have any future games scheduled.
