Kameron Stephenson leads a balanced attack to beat Jefferson RISE Charter

Recap: South Plaquemines Hurricanes vs. Jefferson RISE Charter
The South Plaquemines Hurricanes posted their closest victory since December 15, 2023 on Friday. They skirted past Jefferson RISE Charter 54-51. That result was just more of the same for these two, as South Plaquemines also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2023.
South Plaquemines' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kameron Stephenson, who scored 15 points. Deanel McGee was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
South Plaquemines' win bumped their record up to 10-15. As for Jefferson RISE Charter, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Plaquemines and Thomas Jefferson will face off at 6:30 p.m. on January 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Jefferson RISE Charter, they will head out on the road to challenge Fisher at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
