Volleyball Recap: Lovett Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Lovett waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Landmark Christian War Eagles. The Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the War Eagles, too.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lovett to victory, but perhaps none more so than Margaux Godfrey, who had eight digs and one assist.

Lovett was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Lovett's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Landmark Christian, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-2.

Lovett didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against East Paulding on the 9th. As for Landmark Christian, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Dutchtown on the 9th.
