Baseball Preview: Cedar Bluff Tigers vs. Pisgah Eagles
The Cedar Bluff Tigers will challenge the Pisgah Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Cedar Bluff lost 10-3 to Pleasant Valley on Thursday. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
Meanwhile, Pisgah waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Hornets 13-4.
Pisgah got a great performance from Mason Cooley as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. Cooley has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
