Volleyball Recap: Westbury Takes a Loss

Westbury lost against Madison back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Huskies came up short against the Marlins, falling 3-0.

Westbury was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-12, 25-10.

Westbury has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Madison, they pushed their record up to 10-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Westbury will face off against rival Sharpstown at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Madison is set to square off against their familiar foe Sterling at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
