Volleyball Recap: Brackenridge Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Brackenridge, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Poteet Aggies on Saturday.

Brackenridge easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-16.

Their offense was headlined by Alina Valdez and Laiana Clack, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Danica Moody and her seven assists. Mya Alfaro and Jaelynn Gomez kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Brackenridge's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Poteet, their defeat was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brackenridge will challenge Edison at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Eagles' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Poteet, they will take on D'Hanis at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
