Volleyball Recap: Comeaux Comes Up Short

If Comeaux was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Westgate on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Spartans lost 3-0 to the St. Thomas More Cougars on Wednesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Spartans of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Comeaux's defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-13. As for St. Thomas More, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 28-6.

While Comeaux had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
