Softball Recap: Seaside Takes a Loss

Seaside fell victim to Scappoose and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 13-0 to the Indians. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Seagulls' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Seaside has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season. As for Scappoose, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-1.

Coming up, Scappoose will host South Umpqua at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Seaside will be paying especially close attention to the Indians' contest: after the Indians face off against the Lancers, they'll take on Seaside again at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
