Rock Point waltzed into their game on Thursday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They took down the Red Mesa Redskins 65-51. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 43-37 back in December of 2024.

Several Redskins players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Shyla Pipkin, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 16 boards. That's the most points Pipkin has posted since back in November of 2024. Ashley Jones was another key player, dropping a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds.

Rock Point's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.5 points per game. As for Red Mesa, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rock Point will square off against Williams at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Williams has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Red Mesa has already played their next matchup (against Ash Fork), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
