Michael Givan posted a new career-high in stolen bases on Thursday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he scored two runs and stole three bases. Athens is undefeated when Givan posts two or more runs, but 5-12 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Givan and Athens will play host again on Thursday to welcome Illini Central, where first pitch is scheduled at 4:30 p.m. The Warriors are a perfect 6-0 against the Cougars going back to May of 2016, a lead they'll look to extend.
