            Volleyball Recap: Valle Catholic Warriors vs. Winona Wildcats        
        
		
        
        
            Valle Catholic posted their closest  win since September 25th on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  2-1  victory over the Winona Wildcats. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Wildcats  back in September, they had to take a  2-0  loss.

 Leading Valle Catholic to victory were  Hayden Vaeth and  Payton Naeger.  Vaeth  had seven  digs and one  assist, while  Naeger  had 12 assists and six  digs. That's the most  assists  Naeger has posted since back in September.
Valle Catholic is  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last ten contests. That somehow still isn't as good as their 22-5-1 record  this season. As for Winona, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 30-4 record  this season.
 Valle Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Winona, they will take on South Iron at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
