Baseball Recap: Tracy-Milroy-Balaton Panthers vs. Canby Lancers
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Windom, Tracy-Milroy-Balaton was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They never let the Canby Lancers onto the board and left with an 8-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Tracy-Milroy-Balaton also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2023.
Noah Knakmuhs made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Knakmuhs was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with a stolen base and two RBI.
In other batting news, Alex Schuh was excellent, scoring three runs and stealing two bases. Griffin Zick was another key contributor, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
Like Tracy-Milroy-Balaton, Canby also got a great game from a two-way player: Eli Greenman. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Greenman was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now stolen at least one in the last four games he's played.
