Baseball Recap: Lin-Wood Comes Up Short

If Lin-Wood was feeling good fresh off their 8-2 takedown of Lisbon on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lumberjacks fell just short of the Littleton Crusaders by a score of 4-3 on Monday. The Lumberjacks haven't had much luck with the Crusaders recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Lin-Wood's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Littleton, they pushed their record up to 8-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Lin-Wood has already played their next game, a 19-2 win against Pittsburg on the 13th. As for Littleton, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 9-5 victory against Colebrook Academy on the 14th.
