Ottoville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Edon Bombers. On the bright side, the four- run effort marked the Big Green's highest-scoring match to date.

Ottoville's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Edon, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ottoville will face off against Continental at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Pirates have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed seven runs per game on average), something the Big Green will no doubt try to take advantage of.
