The Jackson Memorial Jaguars will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Southern Regional Rams at 7:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Jackson Memorial's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Southern Regional has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
After only two points in their last contest, Jackson Memorial made sure to put some points up on the board against Liberty on Friday. Jackson Memorial claimed a resounding 34-3 win over Liberty at home. The result was nothing new for Jackson Memorial, who have now won three games by 20 points or more so far this season.
Jonah Glenn was a one-man wrecking crew for Jackson Memorial as he rushed for 242 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 14.2 yards per carry. Glenn's longest rush was for an incredible 85 yards.
Meanwhile, Southern Regional was beaten by Long Branch 31-2 on Friday.
Jackson Memorial has been no stranger to the win column this season, as they've started out with wins in six of their first seven contests, giving them a 6-1 record. Southern Regional has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
Jackson Memorial and Southern Regional were almost perfectly matched up in their previous matchup back in September of 2021, but Jackson Memorial suffered an agonizing 21-20 defeat. Can Jackson Memorial avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
