Brooks County lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Irwin County, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's contest. The Trojans claimed a resounding 43-3 win over the Indians. Considering the Trojans have won three games by more than 27 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Brooks County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Damari Baynard, who rushed for 145 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.5 yards per carry. Baynard has become a key player for the Trojans: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 1-4 otherwise. George Lamons Jr. was in the mix as well, providing Brooks County with two scores.

When it comes to explaining why Irwin County lost on Friday, don't look at Evan Stephens. Despite the final result, he picked up 145 receiving yards.

Brooks County has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 29.4 points over those games. As for Irwin County, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
