Baseball Recap: Bridgeland Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Bridgeland couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Klein Cain Hurricanes by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Bears just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Bridgeland's defeat dropped their record down to 24-7-2. As for Klein Cain, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-7-3 record this season.

Bridgeland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Klein Cain, they will square off against The Woodlands at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Hurricanes 3.3, the Highlanders 1.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
