Baseball Recap: Freedom Eagles vs. Park View Patriots
Freedom took a 19-run loss the last time they faced off against Park View, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Eagles came out on top in a nail-biter against the Patriots on Monday, sneaking past 16-15. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles considering their one-run performance the game before.
Langston Hicks was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Casey Figueroa, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
