Soccer Game Preview: Chenango Valley vs. Lafayette + How To Watch

The Chenango Valley Warriors will take on the Lafayette Generals at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a four-game winning streak alive.

Chenango Valley is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand Ogdensburg Free Academy a 1-0 shutout. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Chenango Valley's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 27th, while Ogdensburg Free Academy are ranked 197th).

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Saturday Lafayette sidestepped Hornell for a 2-1 win.

Issack Mema was the driving force of the Generals' attack as he scored both of the Generals' goals, bringing his season total up to six goals.

Lafayette's victory bumped their record up to 17-2-1. As for Chenango Valley, their win bumped their record up to 10-3-1.
