Flag Football Recap: Immaculate Conception Takes a Loss

Immaculate Conception was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 25-6 to the Burton Pumas. If the Spartans were looking for revenge after losing 33-7 to the Pumas when the teams met back in November of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Immaculate Conception now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Burton, they pushed their record up to 13-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Immaculate Conception is set to face off against their familiar foe Washington at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Burton will take on rival Lincoln at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Pumas 9.7, the Mustangs 8.7) so any points scored will be well earned.
