Basketball Recap: Neshoba Central Continues Home Dominance on Friday

Neshoba Central extended their home winning streak to 21 games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Shastyn Lewis. The Neshoba Central Rockets really took it to the Warren Central Vikings for the full four quarters, racking up a 65-22 victory thanks in part to Lewis, who posted 21 points. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

Lailah Henry was another key player, putting up 14 points. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

The win got Neshoba Central back to even at 11-11. As for Warren Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-14 record this season.

When Neshoba Central and Warren Central next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Neshoba Central will try to stop Chelsea's six-game winning streak when the meet at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. Neshoba Central is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.8 points per game this season. Meanwhile, Warren Central will face off against Callaway and their three-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
